FAQ

frequently asked questions

What is a sober house?

– Sober living homes are affordable alcohol- and drug-free environments that provide a safe place to practice the living skills learned in treatment.

What is the average length of stay?

-We ask for a minimum three-month commitment, most people stay 6 to 8 months. However, a stay of 10 to 12 months is recommended.

Are you located near public transportation?

-Bus stops located directly in front of residences and train within a  20 minute walk.

Can we bring our pets?

– Unfortunately no, due to others allergy concerns and the need to maintain safety and clean environments.

Can I have visitors?

-Yes but they must be clean & sober.  You are responsible for your guests at all times.

Can I have visitors spend the night?

-Residents cannot have people spend the night.

What happens if I relapse?

-Unfortunately relapse can be part of recovery. In the event of relapse, we will do our best to get them back in treatment as soon as possible either to a detox program or refer them out to a more appropriate treatment setting.

But under no circumstances are they allowed to remain in the house and place other residents at risk.

What do I need to bring?

– Bring your basic clothes, twin size bedding, pillow, food and toiletries.
